This policy explains how Jessica Kalani LLC, doing business as Project Kalani ("Project Kalani," "we," "us"), handles information when you visit projectkalani.com or contact us. We are a marketing studio based in Santa Cruz, California. We keep this site simple on purpose, and we collect as little as we can.
This website has no user accounts and no analytics or advertising trackers. We only receive personal information when you choose to send it to us, for example when you fill out our contact form or email us. That can include your name, email address, phone number, business name and location, the services you are interested in, your timeline and budget range, and anything else you include in your message.
Like every website, this site is delivered by service providers. Our hosting provider (Webflow) and the content networks that deliver some of the site's code (cdnjs and unpkg) may process technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages requested. They use it to deliver, protect, and troubleshoot the site, under their own privacy policies. We do not use this information to identify or profile you.
We do not set analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may use cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work and stay secure.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We only share it with service providers that help us run the business, such as our email provider and our website host (Webflow), which stores contact form submissions for us, and only as needed for them to do that work. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
We keep emails and related records for as long as they are useful for the conversation or project, or as long as the law requires, and then delete them.
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email jessica@projectkalani.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. We will not treat you differently for making a request. Because we do not track visitors, browser "Do Not Track" signals do not change how this site works.
When we run social media, email, or other marketing for a client, any customer data involved belongs to that client and is handled under our agreement with them and their own privacy policy. This policy covers this website only.
This site is meant for businesses. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
This site links to other websites, including client sites and social media. Their privacy practices are their own, so please review their policies.
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the effective date above.
